He was born in 1917.
He died accidentally on 26 November 1918 in infancy aged 16 months, after a pot of scalding water fell on him on the kitchen floor. He was buried in Waikumete Cemetery, Glen Eden, Auckland (Roman Catholic Division C, Row 14, Plot 2).
His younger sister Norma was born five months after his death and was named after him.
