Lydia Whitcomb was born June 26, 1762 in Littleton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Jonathan Whitcomb and Sarah Tufts Whitcomb. [1][2][3]
She was married in Littleton November 9, 1795 to Samuel Sanderson. The Reverend Edmund Foster officiated. Intentions were filed October 31, 1795. Note that the marriage date is shown as November 19 in Littleton Town Records, but Church records indicate November 9, Samuel was the son of Moses Sanderson and Mary Flagg Sanderson.[4]
Lydia died in Littleton October 17, 1849. She was 87 years old. She is buried in Westlawn Cemetery in Littleton. [1][3]
