Mary was the fifth of ten children in the family of Peter and Margaret Tibeau White.[1] She was born in Weston, Massachusetts.[2] When she was 21, Mary was helping her widowed mother manage the family home.[3]
Mary married Angus Robertson when she was 23 years old.[4] He was 32 and working in automobile manufacturing.
In 1918, Elizabeth and Angus were living in Philadelphia where Angus was foreman of the Auto Car Company.[5]Elizabeth's brother Lewis Henry White may have been living with Elizabeth and Angus in 1920.[6]
Elizabeth and Angus continued living in Pennsylvania. Angus was working as a machinist in 1930.[7]In 1940, he was foreman for a truck manufacturer.[8]
Elizabeth died of arteriosclerosis at age 68, in Brookline, Pennsylvania.[9]She and her husband's are buried in Linwood Cemetery, (Lot 6, Plot B) in Weston, with her mother and several other White family members.[10]

Elizabeth's death certificate lists her birthdate as July 22, 1876. However, her birth was registered in the Weston Town Records as March 2, 1879
