Chester was the only son of Joseph White and Edith Hilton. [1] He grew up in Brockton, Massachusetts.[2][3]He lived with his parents in Brockton[4]until his marriage to Florence Walters in 1930.[5] They are the parents of at least one son, Frank Chester White.[6]
Chester was working as a civil engineer in Brockton at the time of his marriage.[7] Her was working at Fore River Shipbuilding in Braintree at the time of his draft registration in 1940.[8]
He died in Massachusetts at age 63.[9]
