John married Elizabeth Boardman October 21, 1736 in Middletown.Connecticut Town Birth Records, pre-1870 Middletown Vital Records 1651-1854: p. 312 Original record Vol 1 p 92 His headstone gives his date of death and that he was in his 89th year. This would give him a birth year of 1712.
