Biography

The town record says that Hannah White was born 10 May 1716, and that her sister Silence was born 4 Nov 1716, and they were daughters of Thomas White and Mary White,[1] who died the day Silence was born. [2]

This of course is a physical impossibility. The Vinton Memorial does not mention daughter Hannah. Were Hannah's parents listed wrong? Thomas' cousins and brothers, who were having children in the same time frame, either had a Hannah already or had other children born in 1716. Was Hannah's birth listed wrong? Were they twins or just sisters?

Hannah was born 10 May 1716 in Weymouth Massachusetts, the daughter of Thomas & Mary White.[3] She married Ebenezer Sr Colson 11 April 1739 also in Weymouth. [4]

Child: Ebenezer Jr Colson.
