Biography
When Martha was about 18 she married William Oxley on 1 May 1778 in Heathfield, Sussex, England[1].
The couple had 9 children: John Oxley, Martha Oxley, Sarah Oxley, George Oxley, Elizabeth Oxley, Ruth Oxley, Hennaritta Oxley, William Oxley and Samuel Oxley.
Martha died at the age of about 56 on 27 April 1816 and was buried in 1816 in Heathfield Independent Chapel, Sussex.[2]
