Hello, is there any evidence linking Matilda to the couple who are currently linked as her parents? They are a couple from Oxfordshire, England and I can't currently find much info about them. There are several trees that feature them at ancestry but they are not well sourced. They are also named as the parents of children born in Oxfordshire in 1809 and 1811 and it seems unlikely that the same couple had a child in Pennsylvania in 1810 if that information is correct (although it may not be!). At Family Search Matilda's parents are named as Edward and Mary White, although again that information is not sourced so it's difficult to know whether it is correct.
If you have any info that could help clear this up it would be much appreciated.
Best wishes,
Helen.
