: OBITUARY - MRS. A. G. SMITH The death of Mrs. Hilda Mary Smith, wife of Mr. A. G. Smith, Clerk of the Court, Dannevirke, occurred recently. Mrs. Smith, who was 32 years of age, was the elder daughter of Mr. arid Mrs. T. Angus White Island Bay, Wellington. She was born in Christchurch and educated at the Island Bay School and Wellington's Girls College. Before her marriage she was organist at the Island Bay Methodist Church. She was also secretary of the Wesley Basketball Club. Before going to Dannevirke she and her husband lived at Napier, where she was connected with the Methodist Trinity Church, and at the time of her death she was secretary nf the Dannevirke Methodist Womens Guild.
