Mary White. It has been suggested that she was the Mary White, first wife of Joseph Beavers. However Mary, listed as "Mary White," daughter of Alexander (I), was mentioned in her father's will written 1776 (with no indication she was deceased);315 by this time the first wife of Joseph Beavers would have been dead for several years. Sönn (1948), page 10, suggests that the Mary White, first wife of Joseph Beavers, might have been a sister instead of a daughter of Alexander White (I).
