Biography

Elizabeth White was born on 21 Aug 1792, per her mother's Revolutionary War pension application. It is uncertain whether she was born in Union County, South Carolina or Franklin County, Georgia.

Per her mother's WILL, dated 25 Aug 1831, Elizabeth appears to be deceased some time before that date. Elizabeth's daughter, b. abt. 1829 in Franklin County, Georgia, was living with her grandmother, and Elizabeth's mother, Mary Simpson White, at the time her WILL was written. It is possible that Elizabeth died in childbirth, which would put her death at around 1829 in Franklin County, Georgia. However, there are no sources found for the date or place of her death.

Per her mother's will, Elizabeth's husband was Archibald Jordan. There is very little information to be found concerning Archibald Jordan, and he appears to have moved away from the area after Elizabeth's death.

She probably died before 1842 as her portion of her mother's (Mary Simpson White) estate was left to her daughter, Maryann Jordan.
