Mrs Cassady placed an ad for her husband as being missing on 12 Apr 1847 listing her address as RI, Providence, 77 Plane St. She also stated that Edward had been missing since July 1846. She is said to be waiting for him in Providence, Rhode Island.
A later ad placed by her brother suggests they had lived in Toronto in Upper Canada 2 years previously and that her husband Edward CASSADY had arrived from Ireland 7 years previously (possibly 1841). Her brother was residing in Boston, Massachusetts at that time.
