Biography
Elizabeth Francis White is believed to have been born about 1855 in Lauderdale County, Mississippi, the daughter of James White and Elizabeth (Pearce) White.
Siblings were:
- Mary Ann White (1841 - 1936)
- John James White (1843 - 1925)
- James Knox Polk White (1845 - 1930)
- Eliza Ann White (1847 - 1923)
- Margaret A Lydia White (1849 - 1910)
- Green Berry White (1852 - 1940)
- Olive Rebecca (White) Brown (1857 - 1922)
- Martha Sarah (White) Edwards (1860 - 1910)
The 1860 U.S. Census lists Elizabeth at the age of 5 with her parents and seven other siblings living on the family farm in Beat 3 of Lauderdale County, Mississippi.[1]
Listed as Francis in the 1870 Census, Elizabeth was shown to be 16 years old with her parents and three other siblings living in Township 8 of Lauderdale County.[2]
Elizabeth is thought to have passed away about 1931 in Kemper County, Mississippi. Additional research is needed to confirm.
