She was the daughter of John Lippitt, born July 11, 1745; died Sep 16. 1836.^{[citation needed]}

1. John Lippit White born at Ocean Beach, NJ; died Jun 1831; married, first, Jedidah .......; second, Elanor Rierson^{[citation needed]}
2. Garret White born prior to 1772; married first, Catherine Colman; second, Rebecca Lippincott.^{[citation needed]}
3. Hendrick H. White, born Dec. 23, 1782; died March 22, 1862; married, Jan. 16, 1812, Hannah De Voe.^{[citation needed]}

1786, Feb. 8. Catharine Goodenough, William White and Sarah, his wife and Ruloff Schenck and Rebecca, his wife, quit claim land of which John Lippet died seized, adjoining the road from Middletown to Shrewsbury Falls.

1812, July 23. William White of Shrewsbury, and Sarah, his wife, convey to Garret White, their son, land where Garret now dwells, it having been deeded, by William Brinley, to "Thomas White, the deceased father of the said William White, to be divided between his two sons, the said William and Thomas, and was by release divided by the said brothers."

Research Note

*I am not at all sure that Rebecca, Ann and Sara were daughters of William and Sarah white. Three different ones of the grandchildren of Garret White state that Sarah was his sister. Others claim that Sarah and Ann were sisters. And direct descendants of Rebecca Newman and of Hendrick H. White are sure that Ann and Rebecca were sisters of Hendrick and John Lippit White.
