Biography
Mrs. Clairice White Rockett, 85, died Sunday, May 7, 2006, at Moses Cone Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Centre Friends Meeting. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Clairice was born in Randolph County on Dec. 31, 1920, to the late Edward and Lena Peace White. She was a homemaker and a member of the Woody Circle at Centre Friends Meeting. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward Lee White, Billy Ray White and Worth White and grandchildren, Jason and Ashley Cornelius.
Surviving Mrs. Rockett are her husband, Harvey Rockett; daughters, Judy R. Bishop and husband James of Randleman, Pamela Rockett of Randleman; grandchildren, Leisha Bishop, Karen Boone and great-grandchild, Jesse Boone.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Memorials may be made to Centre Friends Meeting, Hwy. 62, Greensboro, NC 27406.
Forbis & Dick Funeral Home in Pleasant Garden is assisting the Rockett family.
