Biography
- Jennie Adelia White was born April 6, 1888, the daughter of Charles and Hannah White of Cannan, Yarmouth County[1] [2]
- May 18, 1908, she married Aaron Cogswell Trefry, born in 1880, the son of Caleb and Maria Hamilton Trefry of Tusket, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia [3], and had children[4], including:
- Gladys Muriel, born September 8, 1910 [5], who married Lloyd Hamilton, born circa 1908, the son of Alfred Hamilton and Elizabeth Busswell of Tusekt Lakes in 1929[6]
- Valda Annie, born December 31, 1912[7], who married Ernest Hatfield [8]
- Iris Louise, born August 14, 1813[9], who married Allen Gates, born circa 1910, the son of Allen Menard Gates, Sr and Mable Winnifred Hamilton, on May 19, 1935[10]
- Caleb Aaron, born circa 1917, who died January 23, 1922[11]
- Emma Jean, born circa 1922, who married Gerald Whitman in 1938[12]
- Aaron Cogswell Trefry died November 19, 1953[13]
- After his death, Jennie married Artemius W Clark, born circa 1888
- She died December 24, 1959 in Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia[14], and is buried in the Lawrencetown Fairview Cemetery[15]
