Lena R. Keith, 89 KRAMER

Lena R. White Keith, 89, of Virginia Beach, Va., formerly of Kramer, died at 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2002, in River Pointe Rehabilitation Center in Virginia Beach. She had been a resident there and in failing health five years. Born in Kramer on Nov. 3, 1912, she graduated from Williamsport High School in 1931. She married Florin K. Keith, a building engineer, on Feb. 17, 1931, in Watseka, Ill. He died Dec. 13, 1976.

Mrs. Keith moved from Kramer to the Chicago area in 1945, later returning to Kramer. Following her husband's death she lived with family members in the Chicago area, Tennessee and Virginia. She was a homemaker and worked at a Danville, Ill. area hospital and St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, Ill. as a certified nursing assistant. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Kankakee.

She enjoyed reading and walking for exercise. Surviving are four daughters, #Patricia Ann Pedigo of Glendale Heights, Ill,

2. Gloria Staples (husband: Lyle) of Johnston City, Ill., and
3. Karen Keith of Addison, Ill.;

and four sons,

1. Elorin K. Keith Jr. (wife: Delores) of Elmhurst, Ill.,
2. John J. Keith (wife: Kathy) of Kankakee, Ill.,
3. William Stephen Keith of Denver and
4. Stanley Alan Keith (wife: Diane) of Wheaton, Ill.
