Thomas J. White and Eliza Ann Carter were issued a marriage bond in Henrico Co on Jan 24, 1825; according to the Richmond Enquirer article, they were married in Mechanicsville, VA on Feb 16, 1825.
He came with his family to Lafayette County, Missouri in 1842, and farmed there until his death. Death dates based on findagrave entry.
The 1860 Census lists the following Whites living together: Eliza A. (55 yrs), J. M. (25 yrs.), Loften (21 yrs.), Herbert (20 yrs), Evered (18 yrs), Ella (25 yrs.) Elizabeth (15 yrs). Mary Baker (31 yrs.) also lived with them. The households of T. B. White and W.C. White are nearby.
