Biography

  • He became a candidate for the Presbyterian ministry and attended the Union Theological Seminary in Prince Edward, VA for two sessions, until he joined the Confederate Army.
  • He was a Captain of the Liberty Hall Volunteers, and he died, an unmarried man, at the Second Battle of Manassas.
