Biography
Rachel (White) Gardner was an Appalachian.
Rachel was the daughter of William and Hannah Coltrane White. She was born on 5 Sep 1821, probably in Grayson, Virginia.
She married Isaac Gardner in 1842; they had the following children:
- Zeno Gardner, b 1845 in Carroll, Virginia (Part of Grayson became Carroll in 1842).
Zeno was living with his grandparents, William and Nancy Coltrane White in 1850. Rachel probably died before 1850.[1]
