Clinton Shauck White and Etta Marie Meacham, remained in Selma the remainder of their lives. With the exception of Etta, having to go to the hospital in Fresno, Fresno, California, USA where she passed away.

Clinton S. White Expires At Selma.

Selma, (Fresno Co.), Oct. 28, - Clinton S. White, 75, a retired carpenter who came to the Selma district thirty four years ago, died here yesterday. He was born in Ohio. White was a member of the First Methodist Church here. Surviving him are a daughter, Mrs. Alice Weigand of Walla-Walla, Wash.; three sons, Allen White of Oakland, Albert White of Porterville and Paul White of Santa Monica; two brothers, F. L. White of Portland, Ore., and S. B. White of Mansfield, Ohio; Three sisters in Ohio, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10A.M. in the J.L. Robinson Funeral Home with burial in the West Selma Cemetery.

Anyone going to the West Selma Cemetery, will have much trouble trying to find the markers by the above discription. That is an old cemetery and has very little maintenance there anymore. I have family that is said to be burried there that I cannot locate. They changed the name from what it use to be. There are several Cemeteries in Selma, California to check.
