Biography

William White Jr and Nancy Hooper migrated into Carroll County, Georgia as early as 1827 along with their eleven sons and their families. Their family moved there together with the Word and Hooper Families. These families are listed on the church rolls of the Tallapoosa Primitive Baptist Church on Tyus Road.

William White and his eleven sons began buying up Land Lots in the West Georgia area and they settled on the GA/AL State Line all the way from Troup County, to Paulding County. At one time William owned much of the Land Lots around the square in Carrollton, GA.
