Biography

Marion Francis 'Frank' Whitecotton

He was born May 5, 1838 and is the son of James Whitecotton and Catherine Robinet. Frank grew up in Jefferson, Indiana[1] and Madison Township, Indiana[2] along with siblings; Cornelius Whitecotton and Noah E Whitecotton.

Frank married Sarah Asburn Wolfe August 25, 1858 in Iowa and they made their home in Holt, Iowa[3][4][5][6] until his death July 8, 1894. Together they raised thirteen children; Adaline Melissa Wolfe Whitecotton, Clarissa Jane Whitecotton, John Whitecotton, William P Whitecotton,[7][8] James Manson Whitecotton,[9][10] Robert Milton Whitecotton,[11][12][13][14] Debra Caroline Whitecotton,[15] Alice May Whitecotton,[16][17] Mary Day Whitecotton,[18][19][20] Noah Fletcher Whitecotton,[21][22][23] Frances Laurainee Whitecotton,[24][25] Myrtle Olive 'Ollie May' Whitecotton[26] and Royden 'Roy' Whitecotton.[27][28][29] Frank was buried in Prairie Rose Cemetery, Corning, Iowa.[30]

Williams-28514 Cindy (Williams) Lesure
Are they any sources showing that Marion Whitecotton-7 died in 1894? His youngest daughter, Eva Whitecotton-8 was born 4 years after his death. This is on the database error report & it would be good to correct, if possible.
