Biography

Jemima Whitehead was born in 1664 in New York to Daniel Whitehead and Jane (Ireland) Whitehead Ingersoll.She married Jonathan Lewis [1] in 1683 in New York, most likely in Huntington, Suffolk, NY, as they raised their family there.[2]

Jemima Whitehead born 1664 and married 1683, but son Richard born 1671, which makes sense given his marriage in 1706. So somehow the dates are in conflict.

whitehead 2478 and 476 do appear to be the same person and the spelling of her name is a mystery for now.

Whitehead-2478 and Whitehead-476 appear to represent the same person because: I believe these are the same person if Jonathan Lewis is the correct husband for both. The death date of 1708 has no source and I'm guessing is incorrect as she died about 1694 according to source shown on Whitehead-476. Since Jonathan Lewis remarried in 1697 this would indicate she had died as of then.

Whitehead-844 and Whitehead-476 appear to represent the same person because: These two profiles represent the same woman as was noted in the G2G discussion of her father. Note that the selling of her name, her marital facts and source citations in Whitehead-844 contain the correct information.
