Biography

Elizabeth Watkins Whitfield was born 9 February 1801 in WhiteHall (now Seven Springs), Wayne, North Carolina.[1][2] She was the daughter of Needham Whitfield and Sarah (Watkins) Whitfield.

On 16 February 1819, she married her cousin Nathan Bryan Whitfield, son of Bryan Whitfield and Winifred (Bryan) Whitfield.[1] They had twelve children.

She died 4 November 1846 in Demopolis, Marengo, Alabama and was possibly buried at Riverside Cemetery.[2]
