Samuel was born in 1720. Samuel Whiting ... He passed away in 1803. [1]

Samuel commanded a a company in 1775 and was promoted a colonel in 1776. Four of his sons served in the Revolutionary War, Samuel, Judson, John, and Joseph, per DAR.
