Biography

George Whitley, II was born probably closer to 1755 in what was then Anson County, North Carolina. He was a son of George Benjamin Whitley, I & his first wife, believed to have been Martha Castles.

He was married twice. To Elizabeth Moody & Caterenah Tucker.

It is unknown if he had any children with Elizabeth. With Caterenah, he had at least 4 children. George, a Baptist minister, died about 1830 in Montgomery County, NC.
