Samuel was born about 1698, to Thomas Whitmore and Mary Waters.
[1] He was baptised in 1709 after the family relocated to Killingly, Connecticut.
The Whitmore Genealogy [2] states Samuel married Peternell Mitchell, however that was the Massachusetts Samuel Whitmore. This Connecticut Samuel married Mary Haskell in November 1722, in Killingly, Connecticut. [3]
