Research Notes

It looks like her proper name may be Frances Anna or Anna Frances, and Fannie is a nickname...? Add second marriage to Mr. Cook, 1900. Her headstone reads Anna F., which of course some folks dismiss completely; but why not consider what a person's loved ones wanted carved in stone? They cannot all be fraught with errors.

Biography

Fannie (Very unsure if she used this name after reviewing all sources found for her) was born in 1843, daughter of Josiah Dudley Whitney and Catherine Augusta née Harvey Whitney.
She married Frank Slayton on 19 November 1863 in Worcester, Massachusetts. After his passing, she married Henry Cook in 1900.
Henry passed away in 1917, and Anna Frances née Whitney Slayton Cook passed away in Massachusetts in 1924.
