Biography

Winnifred (Winnie) Whitney was born on July 15, 1876 in Maine.^[1] She was the daughter of Graham Whitney and Lizzie Tibbetts.

Winnie married Allen Kirkland on April 16, 1904 in LaGrange, Maine.^[2] They continued to live in LaGrange, where Allen was farming.^[3][4]

Following Allen's death in 1928, Winnie worked as a servant^[5] She died on January 17, 1941 and was buried in the LaGrange Cemetery.^[1]
