Amanda was born on January 1, 1827 in Montgomery, Virginia, United States to the parents of Archibald Whitt Jr., and Frances (Jacobs) Whitt. They had five (5) children. [1]
Amanda married James W. Beavers on May 8, 1850 in Tazewell, Virginia, United States.[2]
They had seven (7) children together.[3]
In 1860, Amanda and James were living in McDowell, Virginia, United States with four (4) of their children.[4]
In 1870, James and Elizabeth were living in Big Creek Magisterial District, McDowell, West Virginia, United States with all seven (7) children.[5]
In 1880, they were still living in Big Creek District, McDowell, West Virginia, United States.[6]
By 1900, James had died and Elizabeth was living in her son's household in Big Creek district, McDowell, West Virginia, United States.[7]
On 29 September 1915, Elizabeth died at the age of Newbern, Pulaski, Virginia, United States.[8]
