Biography
Roberta (aka Robertie) Alice Whitt was born 21 May 1875 in Surry County, North Carolina, the daughter of John E. Whitt. She died 3 March 1936 in Forsyth County, North Carolina; the widow of Monroe Auguste Minish[1].
In the 1880, US census, Robertie was 5 years old and with her family in Surry County, North Carolina[2].
In the 1900 US census, she was widowed and with her family as Roberta Whitaker (age 25)[3].
On 22 December 1902, Roberta A. Whitt (age 27) married M. A. Minish (age 49) in Elin, Surry County, North Carolina[4].
