Mehitable Whittemore was born at Concord, Massachusetts on April 9, 1705 ^[1] daughter of Benjamin and Esther (Brooks) Whittemore. ^{[2] [3]}

Mehitable Whittemore is mentioned in the division of the estate of her father Benjamin who died in 1734, his estate being distributed in 1743. ^{[2] [4]}

She married Timothy Wheeler on May 31, 1744, as his second wife. Timothy was born at Concord on March 8, 1696/7 , son of Timothy and Lydia (Wheeler) Wheeler. ^{[1] [2] [5]}
