By 1808 thier family had migrated to Warren County, Kentucky. ^[5]

He died before 16 July 1812 Warren County, Kentucky, USA. ^[1]

Research Notes

No sources were found for another purported wife, Rachel (maiden name unknown). This Rachel apparently had a son named John Whitten who was born when Elijah was 16 years old. Researchers on GenForum have her husband's name as Thomas Whitten, or William Whitten.
