Malcolm Whitten was born in Scotland.

Malcolm Scobie Whitten was born 1st July 1928 [1][2] in Partick, Lanarkshire, Scotland, the son of George Whitten & Jessie Park Scobie.

Malcolm Whitten, aged 11 months, together with his mother Jessie Park Whitten, aged 25, and 2 brothers, David aged 7 & George aged 4, sailed on the "Cameronia" from Glasgow, Scotland on 22 June 1929 & arrived 1st July 1929 in New York, USA to join his father.[3]

In August 1937, Malcolm Whitten & his mother & 2 brothers sailed on the S.S. Caledonia (Anchor Steamship Line) from New York, USA & returned to visit Scotland, arriving at Glasgow on 29th August 1937.[4] Not quite 2 years later, they sailed on the "Cameronia" from Glasgow on 30th June 1939 to return to their home in Illinois, USA.[5][6]

Malcolm Scobie Whitten & Betty Lou Melchior were married 5th June 1948 in Cook County, Illinois, USA.[7]

Malcolm Scobie Whitten of Los Angeles, California, USA died aged 75, on 7th November 2003 in Los Angeles, California, USA.[2]
