Helena was born in Trescott,Maine,she died at the Maine Medical Center in Portland,Maine.Mrs.Gardner was a former member of the United Methodist Church of York,Maine and a member of the Womens Christian Society Guild.she was also a loving mother and homemaker.She was the widow of Manley S.Gardner,who died in 1967.Survivors;include two sons;Blaine and Wayne Gardner both of York,Maine.her daughters;Nancy Patstone,and Grace Richard both of Kittery,Maine.Mary Lou Reckart of Brandon,Florida.Charlene Gardner and Elaine Gardner both of York,Maine.and Janice Sharples of Newmarket,N.H.her sister;Alta Cribby of Trescott,Maine.14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
