Biography

Frank David Wicks was born in the town of Pinckney November 1, 1891 and on June 27, 1916 was married to Flora J. Frink who was born in Copenhagen, Lewis, New York on January 18, 1893. He was a retired Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. employee. He served two years with the Navy during World War I. They lived in the village of Copenhagen while Frank was associated with his father-in-law in Frink and Wicks Blacksmith Shop. He was later employed by the Deer River Power Company as a lineman. Frank died July 21, 1961 and is buried at Beach's Bridge Cemetery. He died at age 69.
