Susannah, the first daughter and sixth child of David and Susan (Harding) Wight was born 24 October 1790 at Sturbridge, Massachusetts.[1]
Susannah married Silas Fiske, son of Daniel and Elizabeth A. (Morse) Fiske on 19 February 1815 at Sturbridge, Worcester, Massachusetts.[2]They had six children:
Lucius Wight Fiske (b. 29 Jul 1816; d. 1890, Darien, WI),[3][4]m. Mary Alling (1821-1904)
Liberty Bates Fiske (b. 14 Mar 1818; d. 1899, Darien, WI),[5][6]m. 6 Mar 1848 at Price, WI, Amy Ann Foster (1831-1861)
Harriet Newel Fiske (b. 31 May 1824; d. 1892),[7] m. 7 Oct 1845 Phineas Cadwell (1824-1904)

Sarah Vernera Fiske (b. 20 Jun 1830),[10] m. 20 Jan 1850, Henry Morey (1826-)
Vernon Fiske (b. 1834)
Birth records for the children indicate Sturbridge, Massachusetts; however, it appears as thought Silas and Susannah lived in New York then migrated to Wisconsin.
Susannah (Wight) Fiske died 8 July 1847 in her 57th year at Yorkville, Racine, Wisconsin and is buried there. Her husband, Silas, returned to Sturbridge, Massachusetts and lived with his daughter, Elizabeth (Fiske) Belknap and her family according to the 1865 Massachusetts Census.[11]Silas Fiske died in November 1865 and is buried in North Cemetery at Sturbridge. Susannah's birth, death and death location are listed on the combined grave marker there.[12]
