My Grandmother Nettie Smith (later Corby) was a widow, who rented out rooms in her house (borders) and did some type of housekeeping services. She was not a warm, cuddly, happy person, until she married Oscar Corby--I remember her being very happy during those years. Nettie was the original “re-gifter” who would often give presents that were gifts she had received from others. She loved to go to auctions and pick up "treasures", and when we would drive by an old dilapidated barn or house, she would always say" all it needs is a little paint and fixing up".
She married Eugene S. Smith in 1913 and they had 4 children. In the 1950’s (estimated, not sure exactly when that happened) , Eugene deserted the family. He returned "from the dead" in the 1960’s and reconnected with his family a few years before his death in 1966. Nettie married Oscar Corby and they lived in Honeoye Falls, N.Y. They had a short, but good life together until his death in1972. Nettie lived a long life in her home in Victor, NY next to her daughter Pat, son-in-law Robert Livingston and grand-daughter Suzanne. Nettie was always self-sufficient, driving her own car even into her 90's. She died in 1989 at the age of 96.

MatchBot MP here, Wilber-176 and Wilbur-159 are good to merge, just the spelling of the surname needs to be decided upon. It seems it's Wilber because the parents are both spelled as Wilber.
