Paul Francis Wilbur^[1] was born on 11 May 1906 at Iowa, USA.^[2] He and his parents appeared on the census of 28 April 1910 in the household of grandparents, David Heivilin and Sarah (Cooper) Heivilin, at Benson, Douglas Co., Nebraska.^[3] He appeared on the census of 1915 in the household of his parents, Fred James Wilbur and Hortense D. (Heivilin) Wilbur, at Sheldon, O'Brien Co., Iowa.^[4] He appeared on the census of 15 Jan. 1920 in the household of his parents at Bolder, Bolder Co., Colorado.^[5] He appeared on the census of 11 April 1930 in the household of his parents at Glendale, Los Angeles Co., California.^[6] He was a prospector working at a gold mine when he appeared on the census of 11 May 1940 in the household of his parents at Inyo Couty, California.^[7]
