The 1900 US Census shows George living in McLean County, Illinois with wife Ruth and 5 children. George and Ruth have been married for 10 years, and all the children were born in Kentucky between January 1891 and September 1898. Interesting that there are three others living with the family, including boarder Margaret Mink, b. VA Feb 1839, and aunt Sarah Wilder, a widow b. VA Feb 1831.[2] The children living with them were:

James E., b. December 1894
William R., b. July 1897
William C., b. September 1898
George N. Wilder died in McLean County, Illinois, on June 6, 1937,[3] and is buried at the Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa, McLean, Illinois.[4] According to George's death record, he was born on April 3, 1869, in Lee County, Virginia, to James Wilder and Sally Mink, both born in Virginia. He worked as a Section Foreman for a railroad.[5]
