Hulda Wilder was born about 1790 in Sumter county, South Carolina. Hulda was the daughter of Spencer Wilder and Sarah Yopp.
Hulda appears in appropriate age bracket in the 1810 Federal census in the household of her father, Spencer Wilder.[1]
Hulda married James Mellett (also spelled Millett) about 1812 in Sumter county, South Carolina. Hulda is named as the wife of James Millett in the will of her father, Spence Wilder.[2]
Hulda's exact date of death and place of burial is not known. It is believed that Hulda died about 1828, in Sumter county, South Carolina. Hulda was definitely deceased by 1830.
