Biography

Reason Russell Wilder was born on the 6th of February, 1861, in Arkansas. Reason is the son of Washington Wilder and Mary Ann Russell.

Reason, age 10, appears in the 1870 Federal census in Clark County, Arkansas in the household of his father, W.F. Wilder.[1]

Reason, age 19, appears in the 1880 Federal census in Clark County, Arkansas in the household of William H. Heriadge. Reason is listed as a boarder and occupation is farm laborer.[2]

Reason married Alinda (Lennetie Eveline) Wiley on the 27th December 1882 in Clark County, Arkansas.[3]

Reason, age 39, appears as head of household in the 1900 Federal census in Clark County, Arkansas. Reason's household appears as follows: wife: Evalena age 39; son W. William age 15; son R. George age 9; son A. Jessie age 7; daughter L. Mary age 6; and son R. Charlie age 3.[4]

Reason died on the 4th September 1926 in Clark County, Arkansas. Reason is buried in the Straightway Cemetery, Clark County, Arkansas.[7]
