Biography

James was born on 28 Jun 1680 in Marlborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts.[1] He was the son of Thomas Wilder Jr. and Mary (Wheeler) Wilder.[1]

He married Abigail Gardner on 20 Oct 1709 in Lancaster, Worcester, Massachusetts Bay.[2]

Probate

The will of James Wilder of Lancaster was dated 5 May 1739 and proved on 24 May 1739 in Worcester. He mentioned his wife Abigail, and his children, James Wilder (executor), Elizabeth Wilder, Gardner Wilder (executor), Aseph Wilder, Abigail Carter, Bulah Carter, and Ruth Ballard.[4]

In 1747, his widow Abigail received her dower.[5]
