Biography

Mary was born in 1846. She was the daughter of Wiley Wilhoit and Sarah Hart.

She married James Newton Thompson, 22 Feb 1865.

She passed away in 1916 and is buried in Carlton Cemetery, Carlton, Texas.[1]

Research Note

There is a possibility Mary is the daughter of Claiborne Wilhite and his wife Sarah Fuller. Until the death certificate or obituary is found, this record marks her parents as uncertain. See the record for Mary Elizabeth Wilhite Julian. These ladies were first cousins.
