Richard Wilkins was born in Northamptonshire, England.

Richard Wilkins was born about 1805 in Chacombe, Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom and baptised there on 3rd August 1805. He was the son of Charles Wilkins and Judith Hancock. [1]

Richard Wilkins was married to Elizabeth Emery on 08 Aug 1831 in Chalcombe, Northamptonshire. [2]

A daughter, Mary Wilkins was baptised on 09 Sep 1832 in Chacombe, Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom. [3]

A son, Charles Wilkins was baptised on 24 Jun 1835, in Chacombe, Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom. [4]

Birth of a daughter, Temperance Wilkins was registered in 1837 D Quarter in Banbury. She was christened on 24 Dec 1837 in Chacombe, Northamptonshire. [5][6]

Birth of a son, Mark Wilkins was registered in 1841 M Quarter in Banbury. He was christened on 24 Jan 1841 in Chacombe, Northamptonshire. [7][8]

By 1841 Richard Wilkins (35, an ag. lab.) and his wife, Elizabeth (30) had four children, Mary (8), Charles (6), Temperance (3) and Mark (0). They were living in Chacombe. [9]

Birth of a son, William Wilkins was registered in 1844 D Quarter in Banbury. He was christened on 10th November 1844 in Chacombe, Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom. [10][11]

By 1851, Richard Wilkins (45, an ag.lab.) and Elizabeth (43) only had two children, Mark (10) and William (6) living with them in Chacombe. George and Mary Cross were lodging. [12]

In 1871, Richard Wilkins (66, an ag.lab.) and Elizabeth (64), their daughter, Temperance Wilkins (33, unmarried) and three grandchildren, William Watts (15), Frederick Watts (12) and Amy Watts (1) were living in a cottage in Chacombe. [13]

By 1881, Richard Wilkins (75, farm labourer) was a widower. His daughter, Temperance (43) and grandchildren, Frederick Watts (22) and Amy Watts (11) were still living with him and he had the same neighbours as a decade previously, in Silver Street, Chacombe. [14]

Richard Wilkins died age 85 in 1890 in Banbury District. [15]
