William Wilkins was born in Northamptonshire, England.

William Barrett Wilkins was born on 8th January in Chacombe, Northamptonshire, England and baptised there on 29 Jan 1860. He was the son of a stonemason, Thomas Wilkins and his wife, Elizabeth Barrett. [1][2][3][4][5][6]

William's occupation was that of stonemason. [8]

William Barrett Wilkins (bachelor age 18, stonemason), the son of Thomas Wilkins (stonemason) was married to Emma Heritage (spinster age 17), the daughter of William Heritage (labourer) on 31st December 1878 in Chacombe parish church. George Heritage and Mary Ann Wilkins were witnesses. [9]

They had eight children - see 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911 censuses. [10][11][12][13]

William Barrett Wilkins (51, under-gardener on a gentleman's estate) and his wife, Emma (49) were living in Chacombe, along with their twin sons, Albert James and James Albert (both 18), in 1911. They had been married 33 years and had had eight children, one of whom had died. [14]

William Wilkins' wife, Emma died in 1935 in Daventry District, age 75 years.

William died aged 79 in 1939, in Daventry. [15]

Platts-193 Gillian (Platts) Causier
Wilkins-2560 and Wilkins-862 appear to represent the same person because: these two profiles clearly represent the same person but the death date of 1901 on the lower numbered profile is erroneous. I have a census source that shows him alive in 1911, along with his wife and twin sons, so it's irrefutable. I have a death date of 1939 in Daventry district.
