Biography

John Wilkinson was born in 1835 in Duanesburgh, Schenectady, New York and baptized April 16, 1835 at Christ Episcopal Church, Duanesburgh, Schenectady, New York[1] He was living at Janesville, Rock, Wisconsin in 1850,[2] and Delavan, Walworth, Wisconsin in 1860.[3] He married Mary Ann Smith on September 13, 1866 at Union Grove, Yorkshire, Wisconsin[4][5] In 1870 they were living at Tuscalum, Dickinson, Iowa, [6] and at Lloyd, Dickinson, Iowa in 1880.[7]

He died on February 12, 1887 at Lloyd Township, Dickinson, Iowa[8] and is buried in the Milford Cemetery, Dickenson, Iowa[9]
