Tacey Wilkinson, married in 1778 William Huitt.[citation needed]
Research Notes
Note Unsure of surname. Could be Wilkerson or Wilkinson.
This may be of a help to you and myself. My ancestor was Thomas Wilkinson of Sussex Co., VA. In the Albemarle Parish is his birth listing. He was born 11 Aug 1759. His godparents were: William Hewett, Lewis Brown, Martha Brown. He was the son of Thomas Wilkinson and Sarah Porch. They lived along the Harry's Swamp area of Sussex Co. This was just above the Brunswick/Sussex line. This part of Brunswick became present day Greensville Co. A lot of the families in this area can be connected in some sort of way such as through marriages, deeds, wills and etc. I am currently researching into the Sussex and surrounding counties about my Wilkinson family. After seeing your posting, I feel that William and Tacey Hewitt were probably Thomas's, aunt and uncle. Tacey may have been a sister of Thomas's father, Thomas. His father was born about 1725-1730 in neighboring Prince George Co., Va. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
