Biography

Ethel Sarah Wilkinson was born in 1884 at Oxford in Oxfordshire. She was the daughter of James Wilkinson and his wife Elizabeth, born Elizabeth Mary West. ^{[1] [2] [3] [4]}

In 1891 Ethel S. Wilkenson [sic] was living at 134 Walton Street in Oxford with her parents James and Elizabeth M. and their other children. Her age was given as 6, implying a birth date in 1884 or 1885. Her birthplace was given as Oxford, Oxfordshire. She was at school. ^[2]

Ernest East and Ethel Wilkinson were married in 1908, probably in north Oxford. ^{[3] [5]}

Their son Leslie was born in 1909. ^[5]

In 1911 Ethel East was living in Elmthorpe Road in Lower Wolvercote in Oxfordshire with her husband Ernest and their 2 sons. Her age was given as 26, implying a birth date in 1884 or 1885.
